The Elburz Mountains

The wording of this question can, IMHO, be described as careless at best, and at worst it seems almost deliberately misleading.

Every quizzer should know that Elbrus is the highest mountain in Europe. It's in the Caucasus, a range that's mainly in Georgia; but Elbrus is actually in Russia.

The highest mountain in Iran, on the other hand, is Mount Damavand, which is in the Alborz range.

Wikipedia gives Elburz as an alternative spelling for Alborz, along with Alburz and Elborz.

A more helpful question setter, one can't help feeling, would give the name of the Iranian range as Alborz. Not only does this seem to be the most correct version, but it's also the least likely to be confused with Elbrus.
